Not much, but a good spot for photos with no one in the background.
Price and value
To get onto Platform 2 you may need to buy a ticket but if you’re quick you might be able to tap off (Opal card) and reverse the charge. Incorporate this train stop into your travels and it won’t cost you anything additional.
Tips
Extra great spot for photos if you come during Vivid Sydney, fireworks or any other event where the Harbour Bridge and Opera House is decorated.
Make use of the train station for transport to avoid paying for a train ticket without travelling anywhere. If using Opal card, you might be able to reverse tap.
Experience
Loved the view here for photos, you can get a clear shot of both icons without people in the background and also get a higher view. Opera house is facing the other way but Harbour Bridge view and photos are perfect.
Crouching Tourist Hidden Gem 
This was the first view of the harbour bridge I had, and it took my breath away. Such a great viewing platform!
